Steve Austin is a founder of MCA. He brings a diverse entrepreneurial background to MCA, having founded multiple companies across various sectors. Steve has held leadership roles in both the public sector and at a $7B private equity firm. With over 15 years in the financial services industry, he works closely with business owners to build wealth through tax and estate planning, as well as investment management.
Steve currently serves on advisory boards for two private equity funds in the healthcare technology and industrial manufacturing sectors. He is also the CFO/COO of a Bay Area law firm specializing in construction litigation defense. With a deep understanding of capital markets, Steve brings a creative, tax-efficient approach to MCA’s M&A strategy. His core focus is structuring investments that deliver maximum value across the MCA portfolio.
An avid outdoorsman, Steve spends his free time exploring the remote regions of the Western U.S. or sailing the San Francisco Bay and Pacific Coast.
